This 4-day hiking slack-packing trail traverses the area around the Green Mountain / Groen Landberg in the Overberg region of Elgin. It is considered to be a moderate walking trail with daily walking distances of between 11km and 18km. The scenic trail runs through privately owned land filled with a diversity of flora and fauna and boasting beautiful views. All of the land also belongs to the Green Mountain Eco Route, which is the world’s first bio-diversity wine route.
